Ms. Tasha Lee
Miss Natasha Lee, 4th degree black belt was born in 1989. She grew up in, Chard, Somerset where her martial art career began in 1998. Miss Lee started training in Taekwon-Do under Mr Simon Wachon 6th Degree Black Belt. She started competing at the age of 10, her first ever tournament was the A.I.M.A.A World Championships in Dublin, Ireland, where she won bronze and silver for patterns and sparring. From then on she competed in many other contests and gained titles such as British Champion, European Champion and World Champion.
Miss Lee also had the opportunity to travel to Pittsburgh, America at the age of 12 and participated in many seminars held by different Taekwon-Do masters and instructors and to train with other students from around the world. Whilst there Natasha was graded by Grand Master Hee Il Cho, 9th degree balck belt. This experience helped advance her knowledge and practising of the martial art.
Competing aside, Miss Lee was keen to pass on the knowledge she had obtained for Mr Wachon and Mr Miller and became an assistant instructor by the age of 16, she then went on to take over Chard Taekwon-Do school, with fellow Instructor Mr Chris Smith, 3rd degree black belt. Together they helped many students achieve black belt and have pushed students to be the best they can and proved it by becoming champions.
Natasha Lee’s goal in Taekwon-Do is to pass on her knowledge of the martial art to as many people that want to learn and to create champions, whether it is in the actual sense or just to help them to become champions in their own lives and to become the best version of themselves.
